Domestic Violence Awareness Month

October 1 – 31, 2020

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Join OhioGuidestone every Tuesday in October and wear purple to take a stand against domestic violence.

We are encouraging our community to wear purple to bring awareness to this cause. Be a voice and start the conversation about domestic violence. With the COVID-19 pandemic and stay-at-home orders, many people are isolated and unable to get away from their abusers. It is difficult enough to try to leave under normal circumstances, but with social distancing, these individuals may not have the opportunity to reach out for help. Be a voice today and every day for domestic violence awareness.

When you wear purple, consider making a donation to support survivors and our domestic violence programming. Make an impact and go here. Just select “Purple Tuesday.”

If you or someone you know needs help, encourage them to contact OhioGuidestone 844-6CALLOG.
