WKYC: Experts say mental health resources needed in schools to help stem violence

In school districts across Northeast Ohio, violence is escalating. Recently, WKYC 3 News’ Monica Robins took a close look at the problem, interviewing OhioGuidestone Chief Clinical Officer Dr. Ben Kearney for his expertise on why it’s happening and what needs to be done to correct the problem. Last week, Olmsted Falls City Schools held its first e-assembly, titled “Parents: Pandemic Pressure.” The joint venture between the district, the PTA and OhioGuidestone aimed to help parents get through the troubling times of this global health crisis.
