Crain’s Reports On New Partnership To Support Trauma Victims

OhioGuidestone and MetroHealth have teamed up to help victims of trauma, during COVID-19 and beyond.
The partnership will expand the support available to survivors of traumatic incidents, including violence and abuse – during and after hospitalization – free of charge.

How OhioGuidestone’s Trauma-Informed Care Approach Helps Residents of Cuyahoga County

Trauma comes in many forms, and impacts people in different ways. At OhioGuidestone, we know each person’s experience is unique – and so is treatment.

“By acknowledging the historical, endemic and institutionalized adversities that people of Cuyahoga County face, we can help them combat serious health effects,” says Brittany Pope, Director of Applied Clinical Sciences and Research, about OhioGuidestone’s approach to Trauma-Informed Care.
