U.S. Department of Labor awards $2.3M in YouthBuild grants to 2 Ohio organizations


The U.S. Department of Labor Monday announced that two Ohio organizations were awarded up to a total of $2.3 million in grants as part of an effort to support and expand YouthBuild programs across the country.

Easter Seals TriState LLC of Cincinnati received a grant of up to $1,238,186 and OhioGuidestone of Berea received a grant of up to $1,100,000.

YouthBuild provides at-risk youth ages 16-24 with education and occupational skill development to obtain employment in construction and other in-demand industries.
