He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Criminal Justice, as well as a Master of Education in Counseling and Human Development. He works in the Northwest Region, specifically in the counties of Lucas, Wood and Hancock.
Marvin’s work centers on the intersection of behavioral health, and the criminal justice system. He is particularly passionate about reducing recidivism, expanding access to equitable and appropriate care, and helping people build meaningful, sustainable lives—not simply getting through difficult seasons, but having the opportunity to enjoy their lives.
In his current role, Marvin oversees a variety of behavioral health, recovery, and criminal justice programs, including jail-based services, treatment court collaborations, substance use programs, a recovery house, and several grant-funded programs. His work extends beyond the criminal justice system, giving him experience with the many different ways people seek support, make changes, and work toward a better quality of life.
Marvin especially enjoys working with young adults and adults through the everyday challenges of life—figuring out what’s next, dealing with stress, navigating changes, and sometimes just trying to get things back on track. He believes that support should meet people where they are and that everyone deserves the opportunity to create a life that feels meaningful, balanced, and enjoyable.
