Without question, there can be much joy in being a foster parent; providing hope and healing to children going through difficult times. OhioGuidestone seeks people who are willing to answer the call to care for children who are in need of a family, and of love.

Foster Care Family Support

OhioGuidestone offers on-going training and support to all of our foster families. Round the clock social worker support is available to all families every day of the year. Additionally, we provide social events, education opportunities, and respite support.

Available to all OhioGuidestone foster families.

Foster Care Training

Foster caregivers receive extensive training and support and are licensed by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. OhioGuidestone can provide training for anyone looking to become a foster parent.

Training is held in Cuyahoga, Summit, Stark, Tuscarawas, and surrounding counties.

Medically Fragile Foster Care

Our medically fragile foster care program helps find temporary homes for children with medical problems, developmental disabilities, and/or traumatic separation issues. The program supports children from birth to age 18.

Medically fragile foster care opportunities are available throughout Northeast Ohio.

Treatment Foster Care

Treatment foster care supports children who have unique social and emotional needs. The program helps place children ages 4-18 years with foster parents who are committed to helping them establish a path to healthy growth and development.
