2019 Annual Report Client Testimonials: Shawn’s Story

In his early teens, Shawn lost both his aunt and uncle within the same year–stemming significant anger. His inability to manage his emotions led to increasingly serious behavior issues, eventually landing Shawn in the Cuyahoga Hills Juvenile Correctional Facility following a robbery.

OhioGuidestone’s Getting Ahead While Getting Out program helped Shawn reset his path.
