Tri County residents can explore the eight wellness dimensions and learn practical strategies to promote good health, wellbeing, quality of life and set wellness goals.

Monday, May 20th 6-8pm: QPR Workshop and Training: Question, Persuade, and Refer (QPR)

Presented by OhioGuidestone’s Corey Fling, LPCC-S

Just as people trained in CPR and the Heimlich Maneuver help save thousands of lives each year, people trained in QPR learn how to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis and how to question, persuade, and refer someone to help.

Tri County residents can learn how to become a “gatekeeper” and recognize a crisis and the warning signs that someone may be contemplating suicide. Gatekeepers can be anyone, including parents, friends, neighbors, and others who are strategically positioned to recognize and find help for someone at risk of suicide.
