A Renewed Mind Expands Recovery Residence
In an effort to expand prevention and recovery services across the state, OhioGuidestone partnered with A Renewed Mind (ARM) in 2018. ARM is a faith-based behavioral health agency serving the following counties in Western Ohio: Fulton, Henry, Williams, Defiance, Lucas, Hancock and Wood.
To meet the changing needs of the community, ARM added a men’s residential site in Napoleon, but it became clear that there was also a need for men’s recovery housing as a step down for longer term recovery. Understanding the lack of recovery housing available in northwest Ohio, ARM opened a new 10-bed Recovery Wing at the Napoleon Crisis Care and Counseling Center on September 23, 2019.
“Having men’s sober transitional living in the four county area will help to support individuals’ long-term recovery overall by providing safe, structured and stable housing as an environment conducive to their recovery,” said Matt Grafton, ARM Four County Regional Clinical Director.
With the new addition, ARM will begin a SUD partial hospitalization program, treating substance use and mental health disorders.
