Addressing Mental Health Support on The 9
May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and OhioGuidestone is addressing mental health by sharing its new ReadyCare Walk-in clinics for behavioral health.

Christine McVay, Program Director at OhioGuidestone, sat down with hosts of ABC 13’s The 9, Eric Haubert and Rebecca Regnier, to discuss how the new ReadyCare clinics are bridging the gap for those in need of behavioral health care.
“People need that face-to-face connection to talk to someone in their time when they are ready,” Christine explained to Eric and Rebecca. ReadyCare offers walk-in services for mental health or substance use treatment. Whether someone is seeking support for anxiety, depression, recovery, psychiatric care, or other behavioral health concerns, ReadyCare offers support to individuals with same-day care and linkage to ongoing services and supports, if needed.
Christine’s full interview is available to watch on WTVG’s Addressing Mental Health with OhioGuidestone feature.
OhioGuidestone offers 12 ReadyCare locations across the state. For more information on locations, hours, and services available, visit MyReadyCare.org.
