SUD Prevention Director Wins 2024 Advocate of the Year
SUD Prevention, Director at OhioGuidestone, Jodi Salvo won a national honor from Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America (CADCA). Jodi is CADCA’s Legislative Advocate of the Year.
In addition to her work at OhioGuidestone, Jodi serves as Coordinator for the Empower Tusc Coalition in Tuscarawas County.
Jodi was recognized at CADCA’s 34th Annual National Leadership Forum in National Harbor, Maryland where more than 4,300 individuals representing 50 states and over 30 countries were in attendance.
The award is presented to a standout individual who has demonstrated exceptional leadership in the field of substance use prevention. Recipients of this award are recognized for their tireless advocacy, innovative approaches, and commitment to creating safe, healthy, and drug-free communities.
I am deeply honored to receive the CADCA Legislative Advocate of the Year award. This recognition is not just for me but for our entire team and community who work relentlessly towards a shared vision of a drug-free future for our youth. It’s a testament to the collective effort and commitment of our coalition, partners, and volunteers who dedicate their time and resources to make a real difference in the lives of our young people.
