2025 Evolution Gala Lifetime Achievement Award

At this year’s Evolution Gala, we presented Governor Mike DeWine with our Lifetime Achievement Award for all of the support and advocacy that he has championed in behavioral health.

Governor DeWine’s vision and commitment have created a lasting legacy of hope and healing for Ohio’s families.

Under his leadership, Ohio has pioneered groundbreaking behavioral health initiatives. In 2022, he launched OhioRISE, the nation’s first specialized managed care program for youth with complex behavioral health needs, which provides intensive care coordination and wraparound services.

His administration has also greatly expanded crisis support, including the implementation of the 988 suicide and crisis lifeline and youth mobile response teams. These efforts ensure that children and families receive the right care at the right time. OhioGuidestone is proud to partner with the state on these crucial programs. Furthermore, Governor DeWine has prioritized significant investments in the behavioral health workforce, prevention, early intervention, and school-based mental health services. He has also been an outspoken advocate, working to reduce the stigma associated with seeking behavioral healthcare.
